FIABCI Nigeria Set to Host 75th World Congress in Lagos

The International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), Nigeria chapter, is set to host the 75th FIABCI World Congress from June 9 to 13, 2025, marking a historic moment for Africa’s real estate industry.

During a recent press briefing at the Metropolitan Club in Lagos, FIABCI Africa & Near East President, Adele Adeniji, highlighted the significance of the event.

“It is a great privilege to unveil this milestone in real estate and urban development—one that extends beyond Africa to global significance,” Adeniji stated.

“This congress is not just an event; it is a testament to Africa’s growing influence in shaping the future of real estate, infrastructure, and urban innovation. The 75th edition was awarded to Nigeria, not by chance, but as recognition of the continent’s rising prominence in the global real estate landscape.”

Lagos was chosen as the host city due to its strategic economic importance and reputation for urban excellence. The congress will bring together industry leaders, investors, policymakers, and professionals from around the world to explore new frontiers in real estate investment, infrastructure financing, and sustainable development.

The event will also highlight Africa’s advancements in sustainability and technological innovation, attracting key stakeholders such as developers, architects, urban planners, financial institutions, and government agencies.

A Global Gathering of Experts

Adeniji emphasized that FIABCI is a globally recognized federation representing professionals across the built environment.

“Our network includes a diverse range of specialists—architects, property developers, appraisers, real estate brokers, and financial experts. The congress will provide a unique platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and international collaboration.

“We are honored to welcome distinguished keynote speakers, including Kevin Brown, President of FIABCI USA, alongside other renowned industry leaders who will share insights into global real estate trends and best practices.”
